Professional sportsmen looking for an adrenaline rush may choose the Bâlea area for skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiles and even a skating ring on the Bâlea glacial lake. However, if this region is too tough for you, we invite you to try the trails from Cindrel, from Păltiniş and Gura Râului. Sibiu and Mediaş themselves are not boring in winter, either.,. There is a skating ring placed in the centre all throughout the winter months.
