Nowadays, Păltiniş is the ideal destination for  mountain hikes in the Cindrel mountains, mountain biking, winter sports or relaxing strolls through nature.

Who hasn’t heard of the Transfăgărăşan? This is the road that winds up “to the sky” through the steep peaks of the Făgăraş Mountains! Up there at Bâlea Lake you have a large variety of pass time activities be it summer or winter.
