The Hârtibaci Valley

Due to its placement among the terraced hills and the narrow valley hiding Saxon villages with rich rural traditions, in 2007 the Hârtibaci region saw the creation of the LAG Association of the Hârtibaci Microregion.  This local action group brings together all locals who wish to get involved in the future development of their region.

Due to the large number of pastures and hay meadows with a very rich biological diversity, a wide surface of the Hârtibaci Plateau was included in the Natura 2000 Site protection area.
