The route has 8 sections marked on the informational board of the circuit placed at the starting point, in the centre of Rîu Sadului.
The altitude difference is of 693 m so the route is not difficult and the grandeur of the landscape will definitely compensate for the pedalling effort, especially on your way up. Along the route you will come across coniferous forests, clearings and hay meadows. This is a mountain region where numerous sheepfolds were set up as shepherds from Răşinari, Sadu and even farther away villages from Mărginimea Sibiului built their huts on these heights.
From the Dosul Albului Summit (1275 m) and the Derjani Summit (1188 m) you will have a panoramic view of all the surrounding peaks with their clusters of forests and clearings and scattered sheepfolds guarded by haystacks.
On the route there are two springs where you can freshen up with some cold mountain water and in the Rosengarten Glade you will also see a Refuge of the Cisnădie Mountain Rescue Service.
