Eco-certified Accommodation Structures

Discover Eco-Certified Accommodation Units in Sibiu County and those in ecological transition. Following their involvement in the European Tourism Going Green 2030 project, nine accommodation units have obtained the Eco-Romania certification, becoming a model of excellence in sustainable tourism.

Each of them offers an eco-friendly experience for travelers and is committed to contributing to the harmonious development of the community and protecting the environment. Seven of these units are located in the ecotourism destination of the Transylvanian Hills, while two are situated in the Mărginimea Sibiului region.

These accommodation structures focus on the careful valorization of cultural heritage and responsible resource management. The buildings are constructed with sustainable and local materials, seamlessly integrating into the landscape. Rooms are often adorned with Transylvanian painted wooden furniture. Restored vintage objects and natural textiles contribute to elegance and authenticity.

Recycling and composting systems are implemented with care, and water and energy consumption are constantly monitored and optimized. The gardens and orchards provide both a beautiful relaxation setting and fresh ingredients for gastronomic delights.

In such places, hosts serve as extraordinary local guides and actively participate in community projects. Here, you will enjoy quality services while contributing to the development of local communities and the preservation of the surrounding environment, cultural heritage, and natural treasures.
