It is one of the very few Romanian museums to display some of the mysteries of extra-European cultures and civilizations. The two museum sections entitled “Culture and Art of the World” and “Crafts of the World” cover an extremely rich and varied heritage: traditional costumes from China, the Congolese Rang collection, handmade items, traditional Japanese, Indonesian, Ecuadorian and Argentinian toys and other collections from the four corners of the world.
Those who love to see original items may also discover Franz Binder’s Egyptian mummy in a wooden sarcophagus and a Samurai’s armour with its helmet.
